Equipment runs on smoke. If you let it out, the gear stops working and you have to take it to a service center so they can put it back in.

And that what repair people do on equipment.



They put new ''smoke capsules'' in to replace the faulty ones that leaked out the smoke.



Some parts have more smoke than others. Semi conductors the least-resistors the most. But capacitors can be lots of fun also

May I just add, it's not always the quantity of smoke ... but the quality always matters!

Thanks for all the responses, The first pair will be shipping to the N East to Asbury Audio, so they will be there long enough for all of you up that way to get the opportunity to play with them. The 2nd set will be going to Nashville to Digital Console Rentals, and then we have 24 in Pensacola, Fl...I will put some contact name and numbers together for Asbury Audio and DCR..we also have some tops and a combi box.....Randy
