The 1380 (and its stereo brother, the 1280) aren't really tap delays like one would think of the D2 or 2290 as being - 'multitap' more meaning 'multiple taps or individually delayed outputs along a single delayed line'. There's actually no tap button on these units to get a delay time, although the remote pedal may allow you acces to that. They are more designed for system alignment delays, although I suppose if you're creative enough you could certainly use them as a delay effect. I don't believe the displays were done in msec, but metres and feet, so you'll have to do some mental math to get your delay times.
